Meet Maria

Maria is a warm and empathetic psychologist who is passionate about improving the well-being and mental health of her clients.  Adopting a collaborative and non-judgmental evidence-based approach to treatment, she aims to provide her clients with the opportunity to reflect, explore and build insight in a place where they feel safe, heard, and understood.

Maria completed her undergraduate training at the University of Sydney and holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland. She is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who holds a general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Maria has experience working with people from all walks of life, including adolescents, adults and older adults across community and hospital settings. She has treated depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief, adjustment difficulties, and personality concerns. Maria also has experience working with common life stressors such as relationships, workplace, and general life distress.
