Srishti is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar who has experience working with a range of difficulties affecting children and adults, including mood disorders (e.g. depression), anxiety disorders (e.g. social anxiety, generalised anxiety) and eating disorders (e.g. restrictive/binge eating, body image concerns). During her training, Srishti worked in outpatient community and university clinics, in addition to working at the inpatient and eating disorder unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Srishti gained extensive experience in the provision of both individual and group therapy, primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) perspective, and has also facilitated Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) group sessions for individuals experiencing difficulties with emotion regulation and interpersonal relationships. Srishti has also been trained in providing parents with effective strategies to manage behavioural difficulties in young children.
In addition to private practice, Srishti is concurrently working with the team at the Traumatic Stress Clinic, a research clinic located at Westmead Hospital and the University of New South Wales. In this role, Srishti is involved in the delivery of the most up-to-date treatments for individuals affected by post-traumatic stress and prolonged grief.
Srishti has completed both a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales.
