Peter is the Principal clinical psychologist within the practice. Peter works predominantly within a cognitive behavioural framework and has been recognised as an expert in this area. He has a number of publications in the area of cognitive behavioural therapy and provides training in this treatment for the University of New South Wales. Despite this specialisation, he has considerable experience and interest in the provision of other therapeutic approaches including schema therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). He is also experienced with Mindfulness approaches. The majority of clients that Peter works with are referred for psychological treatment of depression, anxiety or anger. He also has highly specialised skills in the treatment of relationship distress, psychosis and bipolar disorder.
